Named after the Danish Archbishop Absalon (1128-1201), HDMS Absalon L16 and her sister ship 'Esbern Snare' are the two largest warships ever to serve with the Royal Danish Navy. Launched on 30th January 2005, at 6300 tons she is one of two 'Absalon' class support warships that are primarily used for command and support roles. HDMS Esbern Snare L17 / F342
HDMS Esbern Snare L17 is a 6300 ton Absalon Class Support Ship of the Royal Danish Navy and is the largest combat vessels in the Royal Danish Navy, and we see her as she crosses Firestone Bay and enters Devonport at Western Kings on 20th January 2017.

Royal Danish Navy 'Iver Huitfeldt' class frigate HDMS Iver Huitfeldt F361 is seen preparing to enter Devonport in Plymouth Sound on 30th November 2018. The 'lead' ship of a class of three frigates whose primary role is air defence, and are similar in appearance to how the Royal Navy's new Type 26 'City' class frigates will look in due course. HDMS Niels Juel F363 is the third of four Iver Huitfeldt Class Frigate of the Royal Danish Navy, and the fourth Danish Warship to bare this name.
