BNS Louise-Marie F931, a Karel Doorman Class Frigate of the Belgian Navy is seen leaving Devonport Naval Base at Western Kings Battery, Stonehouse on 13th March 2017. BNS Louise-Marie F931 originally served with the Royal Netherlands Navy as HNLMS Willem van der Zaan (F829), being commissioned on 28th November 1991. HNLMS Van Speijk F828, a Karel Doorman class frigate of the Royal Netherlands Navy, leaves Devonport Naval Base at Mutton Cove on 3rd July 2017. HNLMS Van Speijk was laid down at Schelde Naval Shipbuilding in Vlissingen on 1st October 1991, launched 26th March 1994, and commissioned on 7th September 1995.
