FGS Hamburg F220, a Type 124 'Sachsen' class frigate of the German Federal Navy enters Devonport Naval Base at Rusty Anchor, Plymouth Hoe on 22nd March 2019. FGS Hamburg was launched on 16th August 2002, and was commissioned into the German fleet on 13th December 2004. FGS Hessen F221 is a 5,800 ton Type 124 'Sachsen' Class Guided Missile Frigate of the German Navy, and we see her as she enters Devonport Naval Base (Plymouth) on 20th October 2017. Built by Nordseewerke at Emden in Germany, she was laid down in September 2001 and launched on 26th July 2003.
