FGS Hamburg F220, a Type 124 'Sachsen' class frigate of the German Federal Navy enters Devonport Naval Base at Rusty Anchor, Plymouth Hoe on 22nd March 2019. FGS Hamburg was launched on 16th August 2002, and was commissioned into the German fleet on 13th December 2004. At 5800 tons, she is part of a class of four planned frigates with three built so far, and is powered by twin MTU V20 diesel engines which generate 20,100bhp and is normally based at Wilhelmshaven Naval Base in Northern Germany. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c1DiWrorhZc

USS Porter DDG-78, an Arleigh Burke Class Destroyer of the United States Navy, is seen leaving Devonport Naval Base, Plymouth (UK) at Devil's Point, as she heads from base (7W) to sea at 0745 on 25th March 2019. Commissioned almost exactly 20 years ago on 20th March 1999, she was built by Ingalls Shipbuilding at Pascagoula in Mississippi, USA, and with a displacement of 9000 tons is powered by four General Electric LM2500-30 gas turbines which achieve a top speed in excess of 30 knots. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1rjlaNo7Bqs
French Navy Tripartite class Minehunter FS Cephee M652 is seen leaving Devonport Naval Base at Devil's Point, Plymouth on 25th March 2019. The Tripartite class of minehunters was jointly developed between France, Belgium and the Netherlands during the 1970s, and is today used by the navies of Belgium, France and the Netherlands, as well as Pakistan, Indonesia, Latvia, and Bulgaria. The Royal Navy's newest warship - HMS Medway P223, a Batch II 'River' Class Patrol Vessel is seen berthed alongside Portsmouth Naval Base (viewed from a warship tour) on 21st July 2019.
